We are Southeast Sportsplex, a premier sporting complex located at 11 David St, New Bedford, MA 02744. Our facility features 7 pickleball courts, 12 batting cages, a workout area, and golf simulators. We aim to provide a top-notch experience for all sports enthusiasts, from beginners to seasoned players. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where individuals can pursue their passion for sports and fitness.

You can tailor your session to match your skills and goals. Bring your own gear or use on-site equipment, and get ready to hit it out of the park.
Pickleball Courts
​We’re proud to offer 7 indoor, regulation-size pickleball courts, crafted with professional-grade surfaces for optimal bounce, speed, and play. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned competitor, our courts are open year-round, rain or shine. Join a friendly match, take a lesson, or sign up for one of our upcoming tournaments—this is where the local pickleball community comes to play.
Golf Simulators
Experience some of the world’s most iconic golf courses without ever leaving New Bedford. Our state-of-the-art golf simulators bring the game to life with stunning realism and pinpoint accuracy. Practice your swing, play 18 holes with friends, or work with a coach to fine-tune your form—all in a comfortable, weatherproof environment.
Gym & Training
Push your limits in our fully equipped workout area, designed to help athletes stay strong, agile, and game-ready. Whether you're warming up before your cage session or hitting a full-body workout, our gym offers the space and equipment you need to stay in peak condition. Matthew and Erin ponte
Owners
Matthew and Erin Ponte are the owners/managers of Southeast Sportsplex. Meeting and connecting through high school sports, athletics has always been the center of their lives and continues to be with their sons' involvement.
Opening their own facility has been a life dream! Their passion for youth athletics drives them to create an inclusive environment young athletes can thrive, develop their skills, and form lifelong friendships. They believe that by supporting local organizations and providing quality facilities, they can inspire the next generation of sports enthusiasts.
Matthew Ponte
Owner/Manager
Matthew is a Fairhaven High School graduate and proud member of the Hall of Fame. He next graduated from Wheaton College, where he played 4 years as a pitcher for the baseball team. Matthew continued his career in baseball, coaching at the collegiate level, with notable positions at Roger Williams University and Bryant University. Additionally, he is deeply committed to youth sports in the community, currently serving as the President of the Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball League for the past four years and as the director of Acushnet Fairhaven Bolts AAU baseball program.
